Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, is Veterans Day. It is a day to thank all the men and women who have given to their families, their country, their friends and people they don't know, and will never know. It takes a special person to put their life on hold while they stand up and fight for their country and all the people who live here. We have a number of these special people among our ranks, here in our Union. Most of them are unknown to their brothers and sisters. They ask for no recognition, they don't speak of the things they have seen or done, and they don't feel that they are special in any way. They "do the right thing", in their eyes, and then return home to continue in their lives like nothing ever happened. I, for one, want to say Thank you to our "Special" men and women, here and everywhere around the world, where ever they may be serving. I want them to know that they ARE "SPECIAL" and that I, and many others, appreciate their sacrifices and their bravery. God Bless OUR HEROES of yesterday, today and tomorrow. May God always keep them safe.
If you happen to interact with a Veteran tomorrow, or any day, please shake their hand and say thank you for all you have done for me and my country.
