A very big Thank You
Updated On: May 19, 2017

I just wanted to thank everyone that came out on May 17th to donate blood.  We had 42 sign up, 14 people did not show up, 6 were deferred, and we had numerous walk ins that made up for the ones that did not show.  We ended up with 28 pints of blood.  That is 12 more than we got in the Fall, but a very low number considering that we have 1150 plus members.  Thank you so much to the students who stepped up at the last minute and helped us make our drive numbers better.  We even had a beautiful young lady, from the community, who came over and donated.  She was just 16 years old, so she had to bring her mom to give permission for her to donate.  How wonderful is that?  Our young people teaching US how important it is to donate.  With what we collected, we will help 84 people who are sick or injuried.  I have put some photos in the Photo Gallery to share.

Please consider joining us in the Fall.  We will do this again in September.  You never know when someone, who means the world to you, may need blood.
