The Officers and Staff of Local #10 would like to wish all our members and their families a very Happy Memorial Day. We would also like to say "Thank You" to all of our countries service men and women past, present and future. We are proud to have a group of members who have served this country very proudly. I can't name them all but a few that come to mind are Kris Clayborne, Terry Tessena, Mike Watson, Chris McKinney, Bon Sampson, Tim Burkheiser, and so many more. It takes a special person to make the sacrifices that are needed to serve and protect this great country of ours, and all of these people, as well as many others, have made those sacrifices. We don't get many chances to say thank you, so I for one would like to thank all who have served, are serving, and those who make the decision in their life, to serve. My dad is a VERY PROUD Marine and served in Vietnam. Many people disagreed with that war and took it out on OUR men and women, who really DID NOT want to fight, but stepped up to the plate when asked to do so for OUR country. When they came home, people here, who they fought for, spit on them, called them killers, thru blood on them, and NEVER ONCE SAID THANK YOU !!! So, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. When ever I see a Veteran, holiday or not, I shake his/her hand and thank him/her for keeping me and my country safe. Please do the same. They can never hear it enough.
Enjoy the holiday, with a Veteran if you can, and play safe.
