It is with a very heavy heart that the Officers and Members of Local #10, International Union of Elevator Constructors, are hereby notified of the passing of Honorary Brother Raymond A. Lusk on April 21, 2021. All services will be Private.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Lusk family in this time of sorrow. Ray and his entire family are soooo well known thru out the trade. Anyone who has been in this trade for any length of time knows one or all of the Lusk men. What a wonderful man "Pretty Boy Ray" was. Ray was an amazing Elevator Mechanic, but he was an even more amazing man. He would always give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He could make you laugh until you almost peed your pants and then make you laugh even more. When I first came to the trade, he was one of the very first supers I worked with at Millar. He never, ever, forgot that he was first an Elevator man and then a supervisor. He aways treated his men and women the way that he would have wanted them to treat him, with RESPECT and kindness. I just can't say enough about him.
Pretty Boy, you will be greatly missed, but your lessons in elevators and life will live with all of us for the rest of our lives. Rest in Peace, Brother, until we meet again.
