From Safety Director Mike Langer:

It is with regret to inform you that there was an on the job accident, Wednesday February 27, 2019 in North Dakota, Local #9, Minneapolis, MN jurisdiction.  Assistant Director of Safety Randy Storr has been in the process of investigating the accident.  Brother Joshua Bosch was electrocuted while taking a service call on an escalator.  He had been in the hospital with the hopes that he would recover, but did not.  Josh lost his struggle last night on March 5th and passed away.  Brother Bosch was 38 years old and started with the IUEC November 5, 2006 and worked as a maintenance mechanic for Thyssenkrupp Elevator.  Brother Bosch leaves behind his wife, Stephanie and 2 daughters, Avery and Olivia, ages 8 & 12.

No other information is avaiolable at this time.

Please keep Brother Bosch and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
